It is organised jointly by the Department of Translation and Interpreting of the Maastricht School of International Communication (Zuyd University, The Netherlands) and the Department of English Language of the University of Łódź (Poland). It is a five-yearly interdisciplinary congress on issues of meaning in translation and interpreting with a session in Maastricht (the Netherlands) and Łódź (Poland).
